Two Traditions
Since we have been married (in 1972) Sunday nights have been devoted to Hot Dogs and French Fries. My guess is that we have had that meal 80 to 90 percent of all of the Sundays since 1972.
And we regularly invite friends over for the BBQ - in the summer we grill the hot dogs outside and in the winter we use the Jennair.
It is a tradition.
Last night we invited some friends over and one of them showed up and announced that they had brought a friend with them.
They thought it would be appropriate for the two traditions to meet.
So we sat the guest in one of our chairs and an old Canadian tradition participated in an old family tradition.
