Resolutions - Day 2
I worked out this morning - and now I am writing an entry to my blog - the second day of keeping my resolutions - I must be on a roll.
I'm also doing something else - not really a resolution but a change in habit.
Each morning when I get to work I make a list of the things I want to accomplish that day. I have always made lists but they were always long and included many long term projects. The lists I am making now each morning are 'doable.' I have purposely focused on the little things that have been ignored. So in the last day or two I have written letters that have been waiting, made appointments and finished a bunch of little jobs that I have ignored.
Resolutions are a means of focusing ourselves on accomplishments. We all strive to accomplish things every day, every year and throughout our lives. Some people accomplish a lot. I am always amazed at how some of my friends use their time - they can do so much in the shortest span of time. Its the old saw of give a busy person a job and they will get it done.
